About the Artist:

Chelsea Brewer is a modern art glass artist based in central California. Her love of light, color, and texture is reflected in her chosen stained glass medium and minimal approach to design.
She began Brewer & Marr Glassworks in 2015, selling finished desert-themed sun catchers to home and lifestyle shops (like, Summer Camp!) in Ojai, CA. As interest grew, her hobby quickly turned into a full-time business with the Brewer & Marr web shop, making more wholesale work for retail shops across the country, and designing commissions for homes and businesses in the area.
Her work has been featured in Sunset Magazine and sold in Talisen West the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture Gift Shop, and the Desert Botanical Garden Gift Shop, among others.
In response to incredible demand, in 2016 she started presenting one-of-a-kind pop-up style stained glass workshops at design showrooms, art museums, conferences, studios, and various lifestyle shops & tasting rooms across the west; most notably- the Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara, Craftcation, Workshop SF, and Makers Mess in Los Angeles.
Looking to expand her in-person workshops and share them with people everywhere, Chelsea began fabricating a stained glass-making kit. In 2020, she released The Modern Glass Craft Kit (MGCK) offering creative folk an accessible way to experience the creatively empowering craft of stained glass from the comfort of their own homes.
