When: Sunday, April 3, 10:30 AM
Where: ROW DTLA
What We’re Doing: Have you ever wished you could design and construct your own ring? Here’s your chance! Come design a ring with jewelry designer Allison Teicher. During the course, you will learn different techniques using various tools to create a wax-carved ring. After class, your wax ring will be cast in the metal of your choice and shipped within two to four weeks of class. Your ideas will come to life!
*Please note that an additional payment via Venmo is required for the metal to cast the ring, as the cost is based on the weight of your wax. Brass rings range from $20-$30 and silver from $30-$60. Option to have brass ring gold plated for an additional $10.
Allison Teicher believes that adornment and beauty should be intertwined with sustainability and community. Eyde is created using a slow, mindful approach to design, using lost wax casting and other methods to create unique, wearable art. Each piece is made from locally sourced metal and ethically produced in Los Angeles by a small team of special hands.
