Miles Lewis is an artist and arts organizer/educator in the San Fernando. He exhibits locally and internationally. He approaches art-making primarily as a daily drawing practice. Observational study, mixed with a more-or-less disciplined imagination, keeps him close to the root of his images.
Miles has been an art teacher since he began studying composition in his mid-teens. He’s worked broadly with children, teens, and adults – in a range of amateur, college-preparatory, and professional development capacities.
He currently teaches and collaborates in drawing and fine-art printmaking media, through his Valley Print Studio, the one community-engaged fine-art print studio in the San Fernando Valley.
