Claire Salvo is a self-taught artist based in Los Angeles, California. After spending nine years living in New York City and working in the music industry, Salvo moved home to Pennsylvania in September of 2016 to pursue art. While there, she created REFUGE, a collection of ten charcoal portraits that tell the stories of refugee children resettling in her hometown. Salvo partnered with Airbnb to tour the exhibit across the country, eventually landing in Los Angeles.
