Jack has almost 20 years experience tending bar. From Applebee's Mudslides to artisanal old-fashioned's made with infused bourbon, Jack has served em all. He has been a mixologist on both coasts, from music venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and on a boat docked off of Manhattans TriBeCa neighborhood to LA's Echo Park hood. Jack doesn't like to over-complicate drinks, no one should feel threatened by overly complex cocktail recipes and hard to find ingredients.
In Jack's workshop, you'll learn the basics. Think of this class as a mixology 101. In our two hours we'll learn the simple rules of cocktails, what to mix, why to mix, when to mix, and how to mix. We'll learn the balance of sweet vs. sour, shaken vs. stirring, and how to order a drink correctly. You'll make three drinks but leave with the knowledge to make 20!
