Liberty Worth is an artist, quilter, mother and an “introducer“ to the joy of sewing to many people. Liberty has been sewing since junior high school and quilting (almost daily) for the past seven years. She's completed well over 100 quilts in that short time. She is the VP of the Los Angeles Modern Quilt Guild, a quilt pattern designer and available for custom and commission quilts of all sizes.
In her 2 1/2 hour workshop, students will learn the basic parts and functions of their sewing machine and which tools make up a good sewing kit. While learning these new skills, students will assemble and complete their own drawstring bag. Students must bring their own sewing machine to class along with thread and scissors. This workshop is open to ages 10 and up!
