Max Messier is a service industry veteran, bar and spirits consultant and an award-winning bartender who has served behind the stick in San Francisco, New York and New Orleans. Along with his wife Lauren Myerscough, Max is the co-founder of Cocktail & Sons - a line of all-natural syrups for classic cocktails made in New Orleans with Louisiana cane sugar. Max has taught classes for the Bar Institute in Portland OR, Tiki By The Sea in Wildwood NJ, Manhattan Cocktail Classic NYC and brings a clear sensibility to the world of cocktails and home bars while demystifying the art of mixology.
In Max's workshop, you'll learn a hands-on approach to creating a collection of shaken and stirred classic cocktails with Cocktail & Sons and how to properly build up your own home bar.
