Emily Petrick is a professional baker and founder of Whisk and Whittle with her husband Corey. She makes small batch, artisan baked treats for special events in and around Los Angeles. She believes that baking should be fun and a good dessert should be, above all, delicious and made with the best quality ingredients available.
We are very excited to be hosting her Holiday Cake Plating Workshop next Thursday, December 10th. Together we will learn the basics of cake frosting and styling. Each student will get to assemble, frost and decorate their own 6” cake using buttercream and fresh flowers, fruits and herbs. We will go over all kinds of tips and tricks of the trade and talk about the essential tools that every cake baker should have in his or her kitchen (all, of course while sipping on champagne and eating sweet treats.)
